Please note that while we are very interested in having more foreign students, we have a policy to only sign an agency agreement with agencies that already have one (1) student with the required documents prepared and that is accepted as a student at Łazarski University, having paid for at least one semester’s tuition fees (please refer to the 'How to Apply' - http://recruitment.lazarski.pl/student-admissions/)

Please note that you will receive a samples and drafts of the agreement by email, but these are only for your reference. Łazarski University will prepare and send you the original signed agreement by courier. Please also note that you will receive 2 copies – one for us and one for you. Please sign both copies (on all pages of the agreement) and send one back to us by courier.

Please see the admission procedure here for BA/MA/MSc programs: http://recruitment.lazarski.pl/student-admissions/

Please note that we would need a complete set of documents in order to process your candidates’ applications. If you are not sure about the documentation, you can speak to our Admissions Team, but you would need to send us documents in order to verify the eligibility of candidates.

For language courses, we only require the online registration and a copy of the candidate’s passport. Please see more information here: http://recruitment.lazarski.pl/courses/

The application period for BA/MA/MSc programs runs from 16 January until 31 August. All applications need to be finalized by 31 August, and all payments need to be paid prior to this date. All payments made after this date will not be considered valid, and thus the applicants will not be considered eligible to start their studies.

The beginning of the academic year is 01 October, with classes commencing soon after this date. There is only one intake a year, and extensions cannot be offered. All candidates need to arrive in Warsaw by this date, and come to Łazarski University with their original documentation that they applied with.

Language courses have additional restrictions, as some citizens are not eligible to apply for a visa on the basis of only a language course. Please contact your appropriate consultant at Łazarski University for more information.

Can my candidates pay their tuition fees after receiving the visa?

No. We require the payment of the registration fee and at least one semester’s tuition fees in order to issue the supporting documents for their visa application. For language courses, the payment of the registration fee and full amount of the course (as stated on the invoice) is required to issue the supporting documents.

After the payment of tuition fees of at least one candidate, we will be able to issue an agreement. Please contact your consultant who will verify the data to put in the agreement, and assist you further.

We suggest you familiarize yourself with the information on our webpage dedicated to the application process: recruitment.lazarski.pl/start/

You have also been provided with a Frequently Asked Questions that has been compiled from questions from Agents and Students alike, so you can pass this information onto your candidates.

This is quite a simple procedure, but we do need specific documents to assist you. Please note that §4 of your agreement with Łazarski University contains most of the information regarding commission payments.

Firstly, we can only accept invoices twice a year – at the end of February for a commission of the first semester; and at the end of July for a commission of the second semester. Please do read your agency agreement in this regard, as per

§4:

2.a) in the first year of the term of agreement:

  • a. first invoice shall be issued after the first semester of education, for which the Candidates have been recruited by the Agent,
  • b. further invoices shall be issued after the completion of the academic year, no later than by 30 September,

In other words, students need to have successfully completed the semester that you are claiming a commission for, and the commission is paid as a percentage (as per the annex of the agency agreement) of the tuition fees paid by the student (i.e. not the total amount owed, therefore please send us a draft of your invoice first to make sure you are claiming the correct amount).

The invoice needs to contain specific information (we can send you a sample of an invoice that we require), and as such the details on the invoice need to match the details in the agency agreement and any additional documentation provided (i.e. a tax residence certificate).

After receiving a correctly issued invoice, your invoice will be paid within 30 days. Please note that 20% tax will be deducted from your commission when it is paid, in accordance with Polish law, unless a tax residence certificate to avoid double taxation is sent to us (in its original form, along with the original invoice). You can read more about double taxation here: http://www.migrant.info.pl/double-taxation.html
